Describe what you do at work.

I am a communicator – I do research for the different topics I have to present on air and share my results as well as my opinion with the viewers.

How does your job affect people’s lives?

I hope that what I do helps people make their own mind on topics that are important to society and contribute to make them more engaged citizens.

What motivates you in your career?

I like to be in contact with people and share ideas and develop new perspectives on issues.

Describe your career path to this career.

I have been involved in politics all my life from school projects to member of parliament. My goal was always to help contribute to make a better society. After I graduated from university, I worked in communications and marketing for several different businesses. I took on different leadership roles in several organizations where I used my communications background to help them with their goals. I advanced in my career in communications and marketing taking on greater responsibilities and roles. As I was always interested in helping my community, I ran successfully for provincial government. After I lost my seat, I returned to the communications field and had several successful positions of leadership. I’m continuing my communications role as a political commentator.

What activities do you like to do outside of work?

Being outdoor is one of my greatest pleasures but getting involved in various causes represents my greatest achievement.

What advice or encouragement would you give others seeking a similar career?

Open your horizons – have diverse interests.

I was born/grew up in: Berthierville, Québec

I now live in: Québec, Québec
